Registration criteria
Admission rules for candidates with Polish and foreign diplomas
Limit of vacancies: (5 in the 1st intake, 10 in the 2nd intake).
If the number of places is not filled after the 2nd intake, the 3rd intake of recruitment will take place.
Recruitment includes:
syndicated level: stages I and II
local level (UW): stage III
STAGE I - Eligibility criteria - consortium level

Requirements for candidates:

English proficiency at the level indicated at https://mfs-apply.eitfood.eu , not lower level than requirements for English Programs at the University of Warsaw, specified in the recruitment resolution of the University of Warsaw.

Completed at least the first level of study (bachelor's, master's, engineer's or equivalent) that entitles study on a Master degree level; A degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biological/Life Sciences, Food Science, Chemistry, Food Safety, Nutrition and/or Economics or Management. Relevant degrees in other fields may be considered by the admissions committee on a case-by-case basis.
Scoring at the qualification stage:

The prior degree of candidates is to be scored by the consortium on the basis of the final GPA/Avarage grade from relevant studies

The assessment of the entrepreneurial potential of a candidate, made on the basis of the form filled in by him or her.
In the application form, candidates are asked to provide examples of their creativity, resilience, coping with ambiguity, ability to think critically. For this reason they should follow the guidance on MFS Apply - https://mfs-apply.eitfood.eu
Only candidates that obtain a minimum score indicated on the https://mfs-apply.eitfood.eu are invited to the interview
Based on the points obtained in the first stage, a ranking list is created, drawn up according to the decreasing number of points.
STAGE II - The interview - consortium level:
The number of candidates entering a second stage (interview) will not be bigger than twice as the final number of course vacancies.
The interview conducted in English will verify the following criteria (details at https://mfs-apply.eitfood.eu/ ):

communication skills in English (lexical perspicuity, fluency, contribution to structuring conversation, skill in using communication strategies)

entrepreneurial potential (creativity, resilience, coping with ambiguity, ability to think critically)

knowledge about the food system (general knowledge about the food sector, awareness of social issues related to food and nutrition, specificity of food production, food processing and food products)
The ranking list is based on the total of points from both stages

Stage III - Internal Registration for Candidates – University of Warsaw level
On the basis of the points obtained on the consortium level, a ranking list is prepared according to a decreasing number of points, on the basis of which candidates will be qualified for studies at the University of Warsaw within the applicable limit of places.

Announcement of results: 22nd of July, 2025
Reception of documents:
- I round: 28th-30th of July, 2025
- II round (in case of not fulfilling the limit during I round): 11th-14th of August, 2025
- III round (in case of not fulfilling the limit during II round): 25th-29th of August, 2025
- additional rounds will be announced in case of not fulfilling the limits
The above-mentioned deadlines apply to the registration in the IRK system and concern candidates who wish to undertake studies at the University of Warsaw and qualify at the consortium level.
