Admission rules for candidates with Polish diplomas

Candidates who hold a bachelor's, master's, engineer's or equivalent degree in any field of study may apply for admission to the second degree programme in Cognitive Science.

The applicant is qualified on the basis of a written entrance examination in the form of a test conducted in English. The exam covers the content of the readings, the list of which will be published on the IRK (Internet Recruitment of Candidates) website as well as on the UW Cognitive Science programme website.

The maximum score of the entrance examination is 100. Within the current admission limit applicants will be qualified on the basis of their exam score, which shall not be lower than 60%.

Admission rules for candidates with foreign diplomas

The same rules apply as for candidates with a diploma obtained in Poland.

 

Checking the candidates' competence to undertake studies conducted in the English language

Applicants are required to provide a document, recognised by the University of Warsaw, confirming their knowledge of English on at least B2 level.

Deadlines

Date of examination: 16th of July, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 13:00 p.m.
- Exam for candidates staying in Poland: Faculty of Psychology, Stawki 5/7 str.
- Exam for candidates staying abroad: exam will be conducted online via Kampus-rekrutacja and Google Meet/Zoom (camera)
