Registration criteria

Admission rules for candidates with Polish diplomas

Programme can be conducted in Polish or English language.  

Candidates with a bachelor's, master's, engineer's or equivalent degree obtained in any field may apply for admission to the first year of second-cycle studies.

The condition for qualification is obtaining at least 60 recruitment points in the qualification procedure and occupying a position on the candidate ranking list within the applicable limit of places.

The entrance exam includes:

1) a description of the candidate's achievements to date (discussion of the bachelor's project, participation in conferences, publications, internships, work for the department) - 20 points

2) the ability to argue for the choice of studies - 10 points

3) an outline of the thesis/research project plan - 20 points

The minimum number of points needed to pass the competency interview is 30. A candidate who does not take the competency interview or receives less than 30 points for it receives 0 points from the entire recruitment procedure.

The entrance exam for studies conducted in English is conducted in English.

Admission procedure for candidates with foreign diplomas

Candidates with a foreign diploma will be recruited by the rules applicable to candidates with a diploma obtained in Poland.

Checking the candidates' language competence

For studies in English

Citizens of Poland or citizens of EU/EFTA and the United Kingdom with diplomas issued in EU/EFTA/OECD or recognised as equivalent on the basis of an international agreement or through nostrification

Candidates are obliged to hold one of the documents accepted by the University of Warsaw, certifying their competence in the English language at least at the B2 level.

Foreigners with foreign diploma from outside of EU/EFTA/OECD/unrecognized on the basis of international agreements or through nostrification

Required documents

List of required documents submitted by candidates qualified for studies

IMPORTANT! After registration for any field of study conducted by the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw and paying the application fee, candidate may generate a referral to an occupational medicine doctor from the individual registration account. 

Submitting a certificate from an occupational medicine doctor is mandatory for admission to studies.
