Registration criteria
Admission rules for candidates with Polish diploma
Candidates are selected on the basis of submitting the documents indicated below and on the basis of an interview.
Application must include:
a) for candidates who graduated from a Polish public university:
a bachelor's, master's, or engineer's degree, or other equivalent document entitling them to undertake second-cycle studies, along with a supplement or transcript of grades from previous studies introducing the candidate to the required areas of knowledge, i.e., financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management, and marketing.
b) for candidates who graduated from a private university or hold a document that does not contain the required areas of knowledge in the field of financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management and marketing, an additional document confirming the GMAT or GRE exam result at the following levels is required:
- minimum 500 on the GMAT (old version) or minimum 485 on the new GMAT Focus Edition
- minimum 300 on the GRE
The above documents must be in English.
Admission rules for candidates with foreign diplomas
Application documentation must include:
a) a bachelor's, master's, or engineer's degree, or other equivalent document entitling them to undertake second-cycle studies, along with a supplement or transcript of grades from previous studies introducing the candidate to the required areas of knowledge, i.e., financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management, and marketing.
b) a document confirming the GMAT or GRE exam result at the following levels:
- minimum 500 on the GMAT (old version) or minimum 485 on the new GMAT Focus Edition
- minimum 300 on the GRE
Please note: Providing the result of one of the above-mentioned tests with the appropriate score is an absolute requirement for candidates with a diploma from a foreign university during the application for “International Management and Intercultural Communication – Global MBA”.
Presenting the result of another test confirming knowledge of English does not exempt the candidate from this requirement.
The above documents must be in English.
Checking the candidates' competence to undertake studies conducted in the English language
Citizens of Poland or citizens of EU/EFTA and the United Kingdom with diplomas issued in EU/EFTA/OECD or recognized as equivalent on the basis of an international agreement or through nostrification
Candidates' language skills are assessed according to the principles set forth in the Senate resolution and its appendices.
After uploading a complete set of documents to their personal account in the Online Candidate Recruitment system (IRK), candidates are invited to an interview in English, which includes a presentation on a previously specified topic.
The interview conducted in English will verify the following criteria:

communication skills in English (fluency and clarity of expression, lexical perspicuity, contribution to structuring conversation, communication skills, conducting discussions, vocabulary in the field of economics, business and related fields) – 6 points;

entrepreneurial competences (creativity, innovation mindset) – 7 points;

intercultural competence – 7 points.
The ranking list is based on the points obtained in the interview and the final GPA/grade point average from the studies completed by the candidate.
The maximum number of points to be scored in the interview: 20.
Number of points at the qualification threshold: 10.
Candidates admitted by partner universities during their own selection processes will be registered in accordance with the rules set out in the Global MBA consortium agreement.
Foreigners with foreign diploma from outside of EU/EFTA/OECD/unrecognized on the basis of international agreements or through nostrification
