Registration criteria
Admission rules
In order to apply for admission in accordance with the procedure of transfer from another higher education institution, the candidate must meet the following criteria: a minimum 4,0 Grade Point Average in the same or similar major, and a document confirming completion of the appropriate level of higher education (a confirmed transcript of records, including grades and ECTS assigned to the subjects). This is necessary to establish whether it is possible to make up the number of subjects required as a result of differences in the programs at a given stage of the program. The candidate must also have the English language skills at the level of B2 minimum, confirmed by a document accepted by the University of Warsaw.
Candidates who meet these criteria will be invited to an oral exam (in English), where the minimum score of 50 out of 100 points is required for acceptance into the program.
The interview will cover contemporary social issues of the United States of America, as well as basic information about political, social, and economic life of the USA and the region. Basic knowledge of facts about the US history and geography will also be evaluated. The exam consists of 4 questions, each worth 25 points.
Candidates will be accepted based on a ranking list.
Checking Candidates' competence to undertake studies conducted in the English language
As for confirming the language competences of candidates to study in the language in which the studies are conducted, the general rules set out in the recruitment resolution of the Senate of the University of Warsaw for the academic year 2025/2026 apply. Candidates are obliged to hold an accepted by the UW document confirming the English language knowledge at least at B2 level.

Payments
The studies are payable for citizens of Non-UE/EFTA countries (EEA parties) and Switzerland - tuition fees
