Visiting Student

Applications for the first semester and the full academic year have already been closed. Submitting applications for the second semester will be possible during Phase 2.

An international student who wishes to study at the University of Warsaw for one or two semesters.

In order to be eligible the applicant has to be enrolled at a Higher Education Institution outside of Poland.

Visiting Students are required to register for UW courses worth at least 15 ECTS per semester.  

Visiting Students study at UW on a payment basis. 

1 teaching hour = 4 EUR

The University of Warsaw course offer is available at informatorects.uw.edu.pl

Medicine is currently not offered for Visiting Students.

 Required documents:

• University of Warsaw Application Form (signed and stamped by a representative of the applicant’s home institution)
• Transcript of Records from the current higher education studies. Additionally, you can upload a copy of the last achieved University diploma (issued in English or Polish)
• Motivation letter
• Language Certificate proving at least a B2 level of Polish or English

Deadlines:

for the first semester and/or full academic year – May 15th
for the second semester – November 15th 

Late applications may be subject to rejection.
