Admission rules
Studies may be conducted in Polish or in English - during registration candidates should choose the chosen language of instruction.
Qualification for studies conducted in the Polish language is based on maturity exam results.
Minimum number of points: 50
Qualification for studies conducted in the English language (payable studies) is based on maturity exam results and additional entrance exam conducted in English.
Minimum number of points needed from maturity exams results: 50
Minimum number of points needed from additional entrance exam: 60
Obtaining by the candidate a result lower than minimum number of points at any stage of the qualification procedure results in receiving 0 (zero) points from the entire qualification process.

Qualification for studies conducted in the English language is based on maturity exam results and additional entrance exam conducted in the English language.

Additional entrance exam for studies conducted in the English language
Oral exam conducted in the English language is based on a publication read by the candidate, a popular science book in the field of psychology.
In 2024 we ask our candidates to read The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion by Jonathan Haidt.
In order to verify whether candidates read and understand the book, Admission Committee will ask them to explain essential topics and ideas mentioned in the publication.
In order to verify whether candidates are able to make critical reflection about the text that they read, they will have to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the concept mentioned in the book and formulate their own opinion providing reasonable arguments.
Maximum number of points possible to obtain during the additional entrance exam: 100
Minimum number of points needed to pass the entrance exam: 60
The final result for studies in the English language consists of:
- points obtained during the first stage of qualification procedure - calculation of maturity exam results (50%)
- points obtained during the second stage of qualification procedure - additional entrance exam (50%)

Checking candidates' competence to undertake studies conducted in the English language
At the stage of qualification procedure candidates are obliged to hold one of the documents accepted by the University of Warsaw, certifying their competence in the English language at least at the B2 level. Announcement of results: 22nd of July, 2024
Reception of documents:
- I round: 23rd-25th of July, 2024
- II round (in case of not fulfilling the limit during I round): 26th, 29th of July, 2024
- III round (in case of not fulfilling the limit during II round): 30th-31st of July, 2024
- additional rounds will be announced in case of not fulfilling the limits
