Aims

The aim of the postgraduate studies entitled Clinical Trials Academy – methodology, organization and monitoring is to provide students with the competences and practical skills necessary for the effective conduct and monitoring of clinical trials, taking into account the ethical, legal and organizational conditions for the design, conduct and monitoring of clinical trials. The classes will be held in English which gives the opportunity to develop English skills in specific clinical trial terminology. Courses will be available also for students from abroad.

Graduates will have a strong knowledge and practical skills foundation allowing to prepare for the role of Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trial Assistant, Study Coordinator, and many other within the clinical trials industry.

Combining knowledge with the experience of people working in the field of clinical research, we have created the unique course that allows to develop further professional career within the clinical trials.

Recruitment

First or second degree graduates (with bachelor's, engineer’s or master's degree), with the knowledge of English at least at B2 level are eligible to apply.
Recruitment is based on the order of applications in the Internet Candidate Recruitment (IRK) system. The payment of a recruitment fee of PLN 85.00 is also required.

Required documents

 The Candidate is required to submit the following documents:

  • application for admission to postgraduate studies, printed from the IRK system and signed by the Candidate;
  • an original or a certified copy of the bachelor's, engineer’s, masters’ diploma or an equivalent diploma issued abroad, or an original or a certified copy of graduation certificate containing information on the level, field and profile of the studies, the obtained degree and the final result of the studies along with the Candidate's statement in which he/she undertakes to present the original or a certified copy of the diploma within 30 days of its issuance.

 A Candidate with a diploma issued abroad is additionally required to provide:

 -       certification of the higher education diploma in the form of legalization or apostille,
 -       sworn translation of the diploma into Polish,
 -       a certificate of recognition of the higher education diploma issued abroad or a Candidate's declaration of the obligation to provide such a certificate within 30 days of its acquisition (if a higher education diploma is subject to nostrification – a certificate of nostrification of the diploma or the Candidate's declaration of the obligation to provide a certificate of nostrification of the diploma within 30 days of its acquisition);

  • a certificate of the knowledge of English at least at B2 level (applies to candidates who do not wish to take the language proficiency interview).

Recruitment schedule

Registration in the IRK system: from Sep 1st, 2022 to Oct 14th, 2022.
Payment of the recruitment fee is due before Oct 15th, 2022.
Language proficiency interviews (for applicants without the language certificate) will be held between Oct 20th, 2022 and Oct 25th, 2022.
Announcement of the recruitment results: Oct 27th, 2022.
Documents can be submitted from Sep 1st, 2022 to Oct 19th, 2022.

Fees

The tuition fee is PLN 8,500.00
The fee can be paid in two equal installments:
First installment: PLN 4,250.00
Second installment: PLN 4,250.00
The payment of the entire fee or the first installment (for the first semester) is to be made no later than the end of the day following the first session of the postgraduate program.

The deadline for the second installment is the day following the first session of the second semester.
