Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the fastest-growing and most transformative technologies shaping today's global economy. It is redefining how organizations operate, compete, and create value across business, government, and society. This program equips executives with the knowledge and strategic perspective needed to lead their organizations through the AI-driven transformation and to capitalize on the opportunities created by this rapidly evolving technology.

The postgraduate program Artificial Intelligence for Executives is designed for business leaders and managers who want to understand the practical applications of AI and develop strategies that create sustainable competitive advantage. The program provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape and leverage AI effectively to drive innovation, improve decision-making, and enhance organizational performance.

Participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Generative AI, including its transformative potential for business, current and emerging applications, implementation challenges, ethical and regulatory considerations, and strategies for managing associated risks while maximizing business value.

Candidates

The postgraduate program Artificial Intelligence for Executives is designed for professionals who hold at least a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent first-cycle degree) and have a minimum of five years of professional experience, including at least three years in a managerial or leadership role.

As the program is delivered entirely in English, applicants are expected to demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English. English language proficiency is assessed as part of the admissions process.

Academic faculty

The Artificial Intelligence for Executives program is taught by distinguished faculty from the University of Warsaw, senior executives from leading AI-driven organizations, and experienced practitioners who have successfully implemented artificial intelligence solutions in business.

This integration of technological knowledge and business innovation equips graduates with the skills and confidence to lead AI-enabled transformation and create lasting value within their organizations.

Study mode and convention frequency

The program is offered in a part-time format. Classes are typically held twice a month. A detailed schedule is provided to each cohort at the beginning of the academic year.

In-person attendance is the preferred mode of participation, as it maximizes interaction with faculty and peers and enhances the overall learning experience. However, in justified circumstances—such as illness or business travel—participants may attend classes remotely.

Assessment Methods

Exams, presentations, case study analysis, quizzes, simulations, individual or group. Studies end with the defense of a consulting project as the final thesis.

Recruitment

Recruitment is based on:

1. registering the Candidate for Studies in the Internet Registration of Candidates system (hereinafter: IRK) and paying the recruitment fee of PLN 85;

2. qualification procedure conducted by:

• qualification of the documents submitted by the candidate for Studies attached in the IRK system:
• an application for admission to studies printed from the IRK system;
• a personal questionnaire;
• a photocopy of the diploma of completion of first-cycle studies;
• documents confirming five years of professional experience and three years of experience in a managerial position (completed professional experience in the application and submitted CV).
• passing the English language proficiency test;
• complete and pass an interview in English;

The recruitment process Artificial Intelligence for Executives (AI for Executives) may be entered by a candidate who meets all of the following conditions:

• has at least a bachelor's, engineer's  or master's degree (or equivalent) in any field;
• has a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including 3 years in managerial positions. Information about the experience should be included in the application form in the sections intended for this purpose.

Entry exams

The following admission criteria for "Artificial Intelligence for Executives" postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw are established:

1. passing the English language proficiency test (maximum 30 points to be obtained, the passing threshold is 50% + 1 points - the long-term average of the total number of points scored);
2. assessment of the interview in English (maximum 40 points, minimum 21 points);

Admission to studies takes place on the basis of the sum of the test scores and the interview, while meeting the minimum threshold of test scores determined by the examination committee.

The exam (test and interview) is conducted remotely using the KAMPUS and ZOOM platforms. Candidates for studies are required to ensure a stable Internet connection in order to conduct the exam. In the event of technical difficulties, the University of Warsaw provides assistance regarding the KAMPUS and ZOOM systems.

Based on the decision of the head of postgraduate studies, in justified cases, it is possible to set an individual date for a written test and an interview.

Required documents

Candidates submit the following documents:

•  application for admission to studies - generated from the IRK system and signed;
• personal questionnaire - completed and generated from the IRK system;
• documents confirming five years of professional experience and three years of experience in a managerial position (completed professional experience in the application and submitted CV).
• the original or a certified copy of the diploma of graduation: master's diploma or bachelor's diploma or engineer's diploma or diploma issued abroad, in order to make a copy and certify its compliance with the original or a certified copy,

If the candidate holds a higher education diploma obtained abroad: a sworn translation of the diploma into Polish, and if required: certification of the higher education diploma in the form of legalization or apostille, and if the higher education diploma is subject to the obligation of nostrification - a certificate about diploma recognition. The documents should be delivered in person or by post to the International Management Center at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, at ul. Szturmowa 1/3, building C, room C-115, 02-678 Warsaw.

Recruitment schedule

Registration deadline: from July 18, 2026 to  September 14, 2026.

Deadline for payment of the recruitment fee: by September 15, 2026.

Deadline for exams: from September 18, 2026 to September 24, 2026.

Deadline for announcement of results: September 25, 2026.

Acceptance of documents: from September 25, 2026 to September 28, 2026.

Tuition

Tuition fee is payable per semester: PLN 16.000

• the first rate until November 18, 2026 in the amount of PLN 8 000
• the second rate until March 30, 2027 in the amount of PLN 8 000
