The programme English Studies – Linguistics comprises many disciplines, such as sociology, pedagogy, psychology and communication studies. Modern linguistics researches, among others: the relationship between language and the human brain, diversity of language varieties, the role of language in artificial intelligence systems, communication in traditional and modern media, language change, or translation of texts of many types.

At the start, students select their MA seminar from the available offer. In addition to the MA thesis related classes, students have the opportunity to take courses and monographic lectures in other disciplines, i.e. literature and culture studies.
